Building the flow: digital road mapping for practice education support.
Alicia was awarded the funding in February 2023 for her project which aimed to identify the support needed for practice educators digital practice development in South Yorkshire Integrated Care System. The project outcomes are available form the NHS Futures website for the South Yorkshire Faculty in the ICS.
The project was a collaboration with SY ICS AHP Faculty and Sheffield Hallam University and included occupational therapists from across the region.
The insights report highlighted the need for a companion app to support better flows of information before, during and after placements or rotations and a limited awareness in or confidence regarding digital safety.
